We had reserved cabin 12 for 2 couples when we got there Owen offered us two 2 cabins (1&2) for the same price so we could still hang out together but yet still have privacy. Owen was such a nice host you don't get that kind of service or hospitality now adays so it was refreshing. Thank you Owen we all enjoyed our stay and are talking about it to everyone.

From DALLAS-FT WORTH – 194 miles
Take I-30 East out of the DFW area to Hwy 259 North (Exit 178) near DeKalb. If you get to the New Boston exit, you've gone too far. When you get to Idabel, turn right at the intersection near the Church of Christ. This puts you on the Hwy 259 By-Pass. When you get to the next
intersection (David Beard's Catfish, Valero), continue North to Broken Bow on Hwy 259.
From HOUSTON - 340 miles
Take Hwy 59 North to Nachogdoches. Take Hwy 259 North. When you get to Idabel, turn right at the intersection near the Church of Christ. This puts you on the Hwy 259 By-Pass. When you get to the next intersection (David Beard's Catfish, Valero), continue North to Broken Bow on Hwy 259.
From SHREVEPORT – 152 miles
Take Hwy 71 North to Texarkana. Take I-30 West to Hwy 82. Take Hwy 82 West to Hwy 259 North near DeKalb. When you get to Idabel, turn right at the intersection near the Church of Christ. This puts you on the Hwy 259 By-Pass. When you get to the next intersection (David Beard's Catfish, Valero), continue North to Broken Bow on Hwy 259.
From OKLA CITY – 236 miles
Take I-40 East to Henryetta, to the Indian Nation Turnpike to Antlers. From there take Hwy 3 East to Broken Bow.
From TULSA – 207 miles
Take Hwy 75 South to Henryetta, to the Indian Nation Turnpike to Antlers. From there take Hwy 3 East to Broken Bow.
From Talimena Scenic Drive - 47 miles
At the Big Cedar intersection, take Hwy 259 South. You will see Cedar Creek Golf Course on your left, then Carson Creek entrance to the lake on your left. Slow down now. Turn right at the row of mailboxes. Follow signs to Friendly Pines Cabins. (If you get to the Steven's Gap Lake entrance, you went too far).
From BROKEN BOW - the intersection of Highways 3, 70 and 259
(Pruett's Grocery store on the southeast corner.) Take Hwy 259 North approximately 9.8 miles. As you are driving north, you'll notice the primary entrances to Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. First will be 259A - South Entrance to Beavers Bend; then 259A-North Entrance to Beavers Bend and the dam; then Stevens Gap Road to the marina and Lakeview Lodge. When you see the business, Girls Gone Wine, on the right…..start looking to the left for Friendly Pines Cabins. Turn Left. If you get to Carson Creek road, you've gone too far; turn around and come back.
Follow signs to Friendly Pines Cabins office.
